Requirements to apply.
Documents and credentials you’ll need ready to submit. The first six are required for every PSW. The last three depend on the assignment.
Required for all positions
PSW certificate
From an accredited Ontario PSW training program.
First Aid and CPR
Current certification, not expired.
Vulnerable sector check
Or equivalent criminal record check.
Government-issued photo ID
Valid driver’s license, passport, or provincial ID.
Eligibility to work in Canada
Citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit.
Professional references
Credible references we can verify.
