Discipline/Performance Improvement Letter
A discipline or performance improvement letter is written by an employee’s immediate Manager or Supervisor to provide formal documentation and acknowledgement of a disciplinary or performance problem that an employee must improve upon. This letter usually follows a verbal warning and is often a step in the formal disciplinary process that can result in additional disciplinary action for the employee up to and including termination if the employee fails to improve.
PIVOTAL will work with you to create a customized performance improvement letter to meet your specific needs and provide guidance on letter delivery, performance improvement follow up and how to handle performance or disciplinary issues that are not improving.
