Candidates will often go through various stages during the recruitment and interview process to determine whether they will be a good fit for the position as well as the organization. However, how do you verify that the candidate does indeed possess the skills they claim to have?
Reference checks are an excellent tool to qualify a candidate’s skills and experience as well as identify any potential red flags. Working with the Hiring Manager, PIVOTAL will develop a reference check form that will capture key questions to help confirm a candidate’s skills, behaviours and past work experiences. Past behaviours are excellent predictors of future behaviours. Speaking with a candidate’s previous employer or manager can provide you with insightful and valuable information to help you in your selection process.
PIVOTAL will conduct the reference checks for you and provide you with completed forms along with feedback notes.
