Gord is a founding Partner of Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions and has consulted to entrepreneurs, investors, corporate executives and board directors on recruitment, organizational and governance matters since 1975. Prior to joining the Pivotal partnership, he was a partner in the financial services practice of two global executive search firms, and he continues to concentrate in this dynamic market vertical.

In 1989, he founded the Centre for Director and Board Development. The CDBD was funded by corporate and institutional interests and was dedicated to enhancing the quality of decision making in the boardroom. He served as chair for four years and has been a keynote speaker at many governance conferences. Gord is active in sports, fitness and community affairs serving on the Board of the Oakville Galleries and the Fund Development Committee of the Community Foundation of Oakville.
