Burlington, Ontario… A new innovative way for the recently unemployed to network called the Pink Slip Club will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The Pink Slip Club has been organized to offer an opportunity for the recently unemployed professionals, administrative/clerical and skilled tradespersons a place to network, hone job search skills, and update resumes and to learn positive interview behaviors. Local employers will be asked to attend the meetings to offer positive feedback and network with potential new employees. Members will have the benefit of HR professionals to critique resumes, get advice on proper interview etiquette and other helpful advice to make the job search more successful. The members will get to network with each other, learning from their peers’ successes and failures.
The Pink Slip Club is sponsored and organized by Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions. The monthly meeting will be held at Pivotal’s location at 695 Plains Road East, Unit #6, Burlington. Members are welcome from Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville.
