The Need

In order to meet the evolving needs of a key client, Logistics Alliance needed a highly skilled logistics professional to manage a high-stress, high-volume position.

The Problem

Requirements for the candidate would quickly reduce the pool of applicable candidates: thorough logistics expertise, leadership and people skills, and knowledge of specific software. Although the need was known, no job description was available or an understanding of the day-to-day activities for the position. Additionally, the company had no formal recruitment process in place and very little time to fulfill the position.

The Solution

A Pivotal recruiter worked with the company Vice President to determine the expectations and requirements for the role, and based on these discussions developed a detailed job description. Using this description in our marketing channels, Pivotal was able to locate a candidate to meet all of the company’s expectations.
