Whenever you work with a recruiter, it's important to remember a couple of things.
First of all, always maintain control of your resume. Don't allow a recruiter to overly modify and alter your resume, which may result in an inaccurate portrayal of your experience and skills. Do however be open to advice and suggestions on improving the content and layout of your resume. Remember, recruiters and hiring managers see dozens and dozens of resumes - the bad looking ones are likely to get tossed.
You don't have to submit your resume if you are not comfortable. You should only allow the recruiter to submit your resume if you are comfortable and truly interested in the position. So make sure you always know what the recruiter is doing with your resume.
