Alison Growse, VP HR Solutions, BA, CEBS, CCP, CHRP
Alison Growse has been with the Pivotal team since 1997 and has played a significant role in its growth – currently she oversees our HR Solutions business with a department of 20 HR professionals focused on Outsourced HR management and project delivery for our client base.
Ms. Growse has over 20 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience. Prior to joining Pivotal, she worked in the manufacturing sector in both operations and human resource functions. In her roles, Ms. Growse was responsible for managing a direct unionized workforce of over 100 employees involved in decisions around scheduling of work, health and safety, operational measurements and handling of grievances and arbitrations.
As an HR professional, Alison has been involved in directing departments and functions involved in total compensation including incentive pay and benefits, performance management, employee relations (in both unionized and non-unionized environments) and policy development. Her work focused on developing HR as a business partner within her employers.
Ms. Growse is a certified Myers Briggs expert and facilitates several team development sessions within all industries. She specializes in improving a businesses understanding of their management style and its impact on performance achievement. She is frequently asked to speak on the above, along with several other HR topics.
Ms. Growse holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, is a Certified Employment and Benefits Specialist, a Certified Compensation Professional and a Certified Human Resource Professional.
